Learn the basics of making a fusible fabric collage quilt or wall hanging. Choose your pattern and get started on this fun and easy technique – no sewing necessary until time to quilt. Techniques taught include –transferring a design onto foundation fabric, using steam-a-seam 2, fussy cutting motifs and more to create a colorful design from a simple, black line drawing. In addition, color choices and placement of fabrics to create depth and movement in your quilt will be discussed. This is a design class and does not require a sewing machine for the class. Quilting suggestions will be discussed for finishing at home.
