Fabric Collage Gallery
Over the years I have played around the edges of quilting, but fabric collage with quilting and thread painting is a newer passion for me. After taking a workshop to learn the basics, I dove in and read everything I could find, including Leni Levenson Wiener’s guidebook on her Pictorial Art Quilt process. The graphic art element of this process fits well with my background so I decided to try it out with a photo my husband shot of us on vacation. The result is below, along with some other projects I’ve completed since then. I will add more projects as they are created.
