Felted Wool Gallery

I was intrigued when I first saw some samples of needle felting around 2012. I have been playing with small animal sculptures since then, made from wool and horsehair, some with wire armatures to make them posable. Beeswax is also used when making feet and fingers. I like to make accessories that add a touch of whimsy to the otherwise somewhat realistic figures. See some examples in the gallery below.
